Hi, I can't get any sound from Kicklab xxl. I'm running it as a vst intrument in Cubase 4 and have tried all midi notes to try and trigger it. In the very bottom is says "please register, no matching keyfiles found" what does this mean? I've been all over this site looking for a way to "register", shouldn't it just work straight away after I bought and installed it? There is a "serial.key" file in the kicklab folder, should I do something with this, I don't have a prog to open it. There are no installation instructions in the pdf manual either, or a help tab on the unit itself when using on a computer not connected to the internet, as I do.
Thanks for any help, anyone

Re: No matching keyfiles found?
You need the serial and user key (2 key files) to be dropped in the same folder as the AM KickLab XXL.dll
If you have both (correct) key files in the folder, then Cubase is loading the plugin from another directory, it might be that you have the plugin dll copied manually to another directory?
The fastest way to get support is by clicking the email button on the GUI so I can give you personal support by email, much quicker. ;-)
If you bought it from the shop directly, please send me the key files to check if they were generated correctly...if not, I will send you new ones by email. For new key files all that is required is your name and date of purchase.
Hope that helps, feel free to contact me personally.

Re: No matching keyfiles found?
Thanks Thomas, that did the trick.
Maybe there needs to be some installation instructions being that there are separate .rar files for the app and the keys. The installer doesn't automatically place the keys in the Vst folder, when doing a standard default intall like I did, on a separate computer to the one I downloaded from.
Anyway, this forum is here now, hooray!

Re: No matching keyfiles found?
So you bought it from the shop right? Did it not include what to do with the seperate key files? When I email them personally I have the instruction included in the email that tells exactly what to do to authorise KickLab. I am glad it works now!
